Suggested uses: Lavender is a "Swiss-Army Knife" of essential oils; it can be used for just about anything. It has strong anti-bacterial, -septic, -fungal, and -viral qualities and is excellent for healing cuts, rashes, irritation, and even acne. It is safe enough for use on newborns.
Aromatherapy: Soothing. Lavender is widely recognized for its calming qualities.
Sara's Thoughts: Ok, unless you're in the lavender-hating minority you really can't go wrong with this one! Lavender is always a favorite, rivaled only by our Grapefruit & Lemongrass scent. Our customers are always telling us that they use our lavender products to help with stress, falling asleep at night, skin conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis)... You name it! Lavender is great for so many reasons, not least because of its delightful smell! This body butter is the most "healing" of all of our scents, due to lavender's many strengths.
Our creamy body butter melts on your skin and imparts a soft, healthy glow. It's not greasy and it really works! I always tell our customers that my absolute favorite thing about our body butter is that it has NO chemicals or preservatives. It's just oils! Since we don't use water or any perishable ingredients in it, we don't have to add any preservatives.
Note: The recipe for our body butter has not changed, but we no longer whip it. This means you'll be getting MORE body butter for the same price, and it won't deflate to half its volume when it melts!
