I've tried many Chicory Farm soap scents, the latest one being anise. The scent is wonderful - it reminds me of my grandma. Anise was a favorite scent of hers! You can't go wrong with any scent and I love to packaging too!
Anise Goat Milk Soap
Smells like: Black Licorice, Christmas Cookies, Ouzo, Sambuca, Fisherman's Soap
Suggested uses: Remove unwanted smells from chefs' hands (garlic, fish, etc.) or use to fragrance powder rooms and guest rooms during the holidays
Aromatherapy: Warming. Star Anise essential oil is often used to treat respiratory ills (bronchitis, colds, etc.).
Sara's Thoughts: Anise is one of those scents that some people just can't get enough of. We blend this spicy essential oil with cinnamon to warm it up and round it out. If you're looking for a very strong, long-lasting scent--and you're particularly fond of licorice--then this soap is just what your sink and shower have been looking for!
Ingredients: Olive Oil (Olea Europaea), Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera), Water, Organic Virgin Shea Butter (Vitellaria paradoxa), Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)*, Chicory Farm Goat Milk, Anise Essential Oil (Illicium verum), Cinnamon Essential Oil (Cinnamomum verum)

My 3 year old picked this out of all the soaps when we stopped by the Chicory Farm booth at the Christkindl Market. Not usually a fan of anise, this one has grown on me- and my daughter still adores it!
I fell in love with this product when I found it at Immuneschein, at that time in Rosendale, NY. I only use this soap now, and give it as gifts when I can bear to part with it. And, my bathroom smells amazing!
A wonderful medley of spices, herbs, and balms, this soap is the perfect thing to transport you back to your favorite winter holiday. It smells like an advent calendar should TRY to smell like. I thought of cutting it in half and using one half to scatter in bits around my house.
